William (BJ) Hyman
Hi, my name is William, but everyone knows me as BJ. I am a Nashville native gaffer and key grip. After eight years as an engineer in the Marine Corps, I decided it was time for something different. My career in the film industry started on the ABC Television Series Nashville. From there, I worked all over Mississippi, Kentucky, Virgin Islands and Tennessee gaining knowledge in the grip and electric department. Shelby Hyman
Hi, my name is Shelby. I am a Nashville based Gaffer. Since I was a kid, I was always writing scripts and shooting films in the backyard. My passion for this industry was the forefront for graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Film from Full Sail University in 2012. I've worked on various sets and in rental houses across the Southeast including; Louisiana, Florida, Ohio, and Nashville. The problem solving aspect combined with creativity is what draws me to the grip and electric department. Finding a way to translate the emotion in a scene through lighting is my favorite part about gaffing. My aim is to bring the cinematographer's vision to fruition.
